Dillards University
The Professional Schools Building at Dillard University is a multi-disciplinary academic building that houses the Divisions of Nursing, Business, Math, Computer Science, Natural Sciences and Public Health.
The 128,000 square feet, three-story building was the first LEED gold building in Louisiana. It has a green roof that doubles as a terrace. It features a 3-story atrium with multi-story windows and operable glass walls. The atrium is often used for community events.
The building showcases clinical simulation labs, lecture halls and a Moot Court for trial simulations. Other features include a 400-seat main lecture theatre, chemistry and physics laboratories, a distance learning classroom, video conferencing room, faculty offices and departmental libraries. Advanced integrated technologies have been incorporated for ease of communication and instruction.
